DailyStep does not warrant that:
- The App will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time
- Step counts or other measurements will be 100% accurate (sensor accuracy varies by device)
- The App will meet your specific requirements or expectations
- Any errors or defects will be corrected
DailyStep is intended for general wellness and fitness tracking only. It is not a medical device and should not be used for medical diagnosis, treatment, or as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any exercise program.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall DailyStep, its developers, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or device damage.
Total liability for any claims relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero, as the App is provided free of charge).
5. Health and Safety
You are responsible for your own health and safety while using the App. Walking and exercise carry inherent risks. By using DailyStep, you acknowledge that you:
- Are in good health and able to participate in physical activity
- Will consult a doctor before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions
- Will not use the App while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation where distraction could cause injury
- Assume all risks associated with physical activity, including falls, injury, or other accidents
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to code, design, logos, trademarks, and content, are owned by DailyStep or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Google Play Store). DailyStep is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. You access third-party services at your own risk.
8. Termination
You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App and ceasing all use. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitation of liability.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international consumer protection laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
